Putin Issues Tough Ultimatum, Calls European Leaders Little Pigs

 

Russian President Vladimir Putin issued another strong statement regarding the war in Ukraine, asserting that Moscow would achieve all the objectives set in what he called a "special military operation," regardless of Western attitudes or ongoing diplomatic progress. Speaking at an annual meeting with the Russian Ministry of Defense, Putin said the military operation's objectives would be achieved "unconditionally." He warned that if there was no willingness to engage in serious negotiations, Russia would resort to military action.

"If they don't want substantive discussions, then Russia will liberate its historical lands on the battlefield," he said, as reported by The Guardian, Thursday (12/18/2025).
